Pick Model A if you need a brighter f/4.5 maximum aperture at the wide end, a shorter minimum focal length of 100 mm, or prefer a more compact zoom range. Model B stays the better choice if your priority is reaching 600 mm for distant subjects and you can accept the slower f/5–6.3 aperture and higher minimum focal length of 150 mm.
