Pick the Nikon D3300 if you need higher resolution, faster burst shooting, or 1080p video—its 11-year newer sensor and extra features justify the modest price premium. The Canon EOS 10D stays the better choice if budget is tight and you only need basic stills at 6 MP, as neither body offers stabilization.
